What's with Plato and the Hardhat?
In Plato's philosophy, the world we see is just a shadow of something deeper: the Forms —perfect, eternal blueprints that give shape to everything. A chair is a chair because it participates in the Form of "chair-ness." The visible is built upon the invisible.
Our name nods to Plato's Republic —his vision of an ideal society built on solid foundations. We're building our own republic, one of code. And like any republic worth its salt, it needs strong infrastructure: the schemas, APIs, and data models that everything else stands on.
That's where the hardhat comes in. We do foundational work. Not the flashy frontend stuff everyone sees, but the underlying structures that make applications reliable, maintainable, and built to last. Content models, database architectures, integration layers—the Forms of your digital world.
